An archived message reaches you as a .msg, and the machine in front of you has no Outlook — so double-clicking it does nothing at all. Upload it to the email viewer: MSG, EML and EMLX, up to 10 MB, rendered in the browser, deleted when you close the tab.

Doconut.app is free and needs no account. It is also the public face of the Doconut .NET SDK, so if you are evaluating that for your own application, this is the cheapest way to see how it renders a real message before writing any code.
See Your Emails in a Whole New Light
Imagine being able to view your archived email files with clarity and precision, regardless of the complexity of their formatting. Doconut.app delivers just that:
- No email client needed: upload the file and the message opens — sender, recipients, date, subject, and the body with its formatting.
- The full header trail: From, To, Cc, Date, Message-ID and the Received lines, shown with the message. This is the part people come back for, and it is the part mail clients hide by default.
- Attachments listed separately, so you can open the invoice without hunting through the message that carried it — and if the attachment is a DWG or a PSD, the same site has a viewer for it.
- Search across body and headers, which is how you find one sentence forty replies down a thread.
One clarification on the word "management": this views messages, it does not manage them. There is no archive, no folders, no tagging and no export — one file at a time, read, then deleted.
Free for IT Professionals, Educators, and Students
Doconut.app isn’t just for businesses—it’s perfect for anyone who needs to work with email files:
- IT professionals: check what is inside an exported message without standing up a mail client.
- Educators and students: read research correspondence or an attachment on a machine with no Outlook.
- Legal and compliance: read the header trail when the question is who sent what, and when. Note that it is a public site with no certification — for material under a preservation obligation, work inside your own systems.
What the email viewer actually does
It reads messages; it does not manage them. There is no mailbox here, no folders and nothing kept — so the list is short:
- Upload and read: one message at a time, with no queue and no batch.
- Browser-based: nothing installed, no plugin, no account.
- Up to 10 MB per message — which is the ceiling worth knowing, because a thread carrying a few attachments reaches it faster than you would expect. If a message is refused, the attachments are usually the reason.
Getting Started is Simple
Drop the message on the email viewer — free, no account, gone when you close the tab.
If this needs to happen inside your own application instead, that is the Doconut SDK, the licensed .NET component running the same engine on your servers.
