The file you were sent will not open, and installing the program that made it is not an option on this machine.
Doconut.app offers a unified online document viewer designed to simplify your workflow by supporting a wide range of file formats including PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OpenOffice documents. Whether you are reviewing reports, presentations, or spreadsheets, Doconut.app allows you to open and view files directly in your browser—no additional software required.
This instant access to documents helps teams stay aligned and speeds up decision-making by eliminating delays caused by incompatible file formats or missing applications. Additionally, Doconut.app’s intuitive interface ensures anyone can start viewing files with minimal learning curve, making it ideal for businesses, educators, and developers alike.
What happens to your file is short to describe: it travels over HTTPS, it is rendered, and it is deleted when the viewing session ends. Nothing is stored, and there is no sign-up, so there is no account for a document to sit in afterwards.
The size limit depends on which viewer you land on — 25 MB for a PDF, 20 MB for a spreadsheet or a deck, 15 MB for a Word file, 10 MB for a CAD drawing, 5 MB for text, XML and HTML. Over the limit, the upload is refused straight away rather than failing after a long wait.
Visit Doconut.app, choose your file, and read it. It costs nothing and asks for nothing.
